Types of Warrants

There are two types of warrants:

  • Call Warrants. A call warrant gives the holder the right to buy the underlying share for an agreed price, known as the strike price, on or before a specified date.
  • Put Warrants. A put warrant gives the holder the right to sell the underlying share for an agreed strike price on or before a specified date.
